Chefs Jock Zonfrillo and Qu Jianmen were reunited as production on Chef Exchange Series 2 began last month in China. For the first time, Jock and Qu travelled outside of Qingdao and explored the cuisine of Shanghai. They also paid a visit to Qu’s village before returning to the Shandong province to cook a large meal for a group of patrons at Qingdao Harbour.

Production will continue across Australia throughout the coming months.

57 Films has put a call out for stories from Australian wineries, food producers, growers and tourism businesses to feature in the second series of Chef Exchange, which is set to be screened across China in 2018.

For Australian businesses expanding or looking to expand into the Chinese export market, Chef Exchange provides a unique way of telling their story through China’s biggest broadcaster.

Produce that can be brought to life using Chinese flavours or wines that will complement Chinese dishes are of particular interest for the show.

Australian wineries and food producers interested in telling their story in Chef Exchange Series 2 should contact enquiries@57films.com.au.
