Wednesday 22 November saw Screen Professionals from Australia and China gather in Brisbane, to mark 10 years of the Australia-China co-production treaty. An initiative of the Australian Government through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Screen Australia, Ausfilm and Austrade, with the support of the Asia Pacific Screen Awards, the celebration included a forum to recognise the strong relationship that has developed between the two countries, since the treaty was signed in 2007.

57 Films were invited to participate in the panel discussion, with Paul Ryan sharing his experience working in the China space, particularly relevant to Chef Exchange and Speed.
